American award-winning singer, songwriter and performer, Usher Raymond, popularly known as Usher, showed love to Nigerian Afrobeats poster-boys, Oxlade & Pheelz, during his set at the 2022 Global Citizen Festival.

On Saturday, September 24th, 2022, the Global Citizen Festival, which is an annual festival organized by the Global Poverty Project as part of the movement to end poverty, saw both local and international stars such as Stormzy, Stonebwoy, Usher, Tems, Tiwa Savage, Gyakie, Sarkodie, Uncle Waffles, and a host of others grace the stage.

Hosted at the Black Star Square in Accra, Ghana, the event also took place on the same day at Central Park’s Great Lawn in New York City, with heavyweights like the Jonas Brothers, Mariah Carey, Charlie Puth, Rosalia, and a host of others thrilling the fans in America.

During the event, the iconic singer brought buzzing Nigerian singer Oxlade on stage to perform his smash tune ‘Ku Lo Sa‘, after which he also brought producer and singer, Pheelz, on stage as well, who gave an electrifying performance as usual.
