“A lot of us in the entertainment industry need therapy” – Actor, Kunle Remi

Nollywood actor, Kunle Remi, has said that a lot of people in the Nigerian entertainment industry need therapy.

Taking to his Instagram stories, the thespian, who came to prominence after winning the 7th edition of Gulder Ultimate Search in 2010, noted that he believes that a lot of people in the entertainment industry need therapy because of all they have to deal with.

According to him, there’s a great deal of denial, validation seeking, pressure, and confusion in the entertainment industry.

He went on to ask how one actually lives when faced with all of the above.

In his words,

“I personally and absolutely think a lot of us in this industry called entertainment need therapy. There is so much denial, validation seeking, pressure, entitlement, undervaluing, perfectionism and confusion to say the least. How do you truly live when you carry all or any of these.”

In other news, Big Brother Naija star, Erica Nlewedim has reacted after media personality, Sally Suleiman, revealed she spent over N500k to attend a wedding in Lagos.

Sally had made this startling revelation while responding to a Twitter user who wondered how celebrities cope with the huge expenses that comes with attending several events yearly.

In response, Sally said she didn’t know celebrities spend so much to look good for an event until she attended one and spent over N500k on her outfit, hotel and logistics alone.

Erica, reacting to her tweet, said she spends way more than the amount Sally quoted, and that’s the reason why she rarely attends social events except it’s work-related or for her friends and family.
