Apple Music Announce The Most Streamed Nigerian Song In The World For 2022
The streaming platform Apple Music, in its end-of-the-year charts for 2022, revealed the most streamed Nigerian song in the world.
One of the biggest digital streaming platforms, Apple Music, unveiled the Top 100 global songs of 2022, which had only one Nigerian song as the most streamed Nigerian song in the world for the year 2022. The only Nigerian song to appear on the chart at number 65, following the massive numbers on the charts the song had achieved in different parts of the world.
‘Burna Boy’s ‘Last Last’ is the only Nigerian song to make an entry on the 100 most streamed songs on Apple Music for the year 2022. This is also the only African song to make an appearance on the chart. Burna Boy, however, is not the only Nigerian artist to make an appearance on the chart as Tems with her huge collaboration with Future and Drake on the grammy nominated song ‘Wait For U.’
This is huge for Burna as the hit song ‘Last Last’ achieved so many unprecedented records, such as making an appearance on the billboard hot 100 chart and also bagging a grammy nomination as well.
Congratulations to Burna Boy!
