Brazil’s defender, Casemiro has wished Real Madrid supporters his final goodbye as he is about to start his new journey at Manchester United.

The 30-year-old was speaking at a press conference which was organised by the Madrid club to officially bid him goodbye. Casemiro who was teary before he began to speak thanked everyone at the club, from the board to his teammates and supporters who made the journey wonderful for him.

When I left Brazil I knew I would have played at Castilla, I was very excited because I knew I would have learnt the values of this club. I won a lot of titles but the biggest title is when I came here to train every day. Luka Modrić and Toni Kroos… I can’t forget them. We won a lot together.. President, thank you a lot. This club will have a great future with you. Hala Madrid.

The defender is expected to be unveiled at Old Trafford when Manchester United play Liverpool today ( Monday, August 22nd, 2022). He has signed a new contract which will keep him at Old Trafford until the summer of 2026.

The supporters of the Manchester club will hope the Brazilian can change the fortune lf their beloved club.
