The 32-year-old superstar loves keeping his personal and relationship life private to some extent. Like his counterpart Wizkid, Olamide barely responds when he gets called out. When he had a dispute with Lyta, an artist who was previously signed to his record label YBNL, the self-named “Badoo” only released a statement explaining the bone of contention between himself and his ex-label signee. Similarly, in a Twitter rant, another one of his artists, Temmie Ovwasa, accused the “Wo” singer of dampening her growth ever since she signed to YBNL. Yet, he never commented on the allegations. 

Furthermore, in 2019, Pulse Nigeria reported that he impregnated his ex-lover, Maria Okanrende, a former on-air personality at The Beat 99.9FM. Maria, according to Pulse, dated the singer and got pregnant believing that he was single. However, after finding out that he was still with his baby mama, the OAP ended the relationship. On the heels of her separation from the singer, Pulse reported, Maria Okan resigned her position at the radio station and moved to London, where she put to bed. Again, Olamide neither confirmed nor denied the story.

His current wife may have changed that character. For the first time ever, the “UY Scuti” crooner posted a photo of himself and his soulmate at the 2021 BET Awards on Instagram. Captioned with a love emoji, the image now boasts over 400,000 likes.

Olamide is married to Aisha Adebukunmi Adedeji, a fair woman he started dating in 2011. Aisha lives a lowkey life and has excellently kept most of her business under the wraps. Her relationship with Olamide was reportedly on and off until he proposed to her in 2018.
