European Thursday night football was virtually a goal fest as Arsenal FC of England, Basel FC of Switzerland and Roma of Italy ended the day as big game winners stamping their authority on the group stage from the onset of Europe’s second biggest club competition.

Manchester United scored a miserly 1-0 against lowly ranked Astana FC on home soil through a Mason Greenwood solo effort in the second half. Wolves, another premier league team disappointed their fans with a shock loss at the Molineux.
