Wife and two children of a Director of Finance in Zamfara State Ministry of Finance, Sirajo Hassan, have been kidnapped by terrorists who invaded their residence at Damba Housing Estate, Gusau in Zamfara State. 

Punch reported that the terrorists entered the director’s house around 1am on Monday February 14, in an attempt to kidnap him but he was not at home. Upon realizing he was not at home, they abducted his wife Maryam Gambo and her two little children.

The attack led to a gunfight between the terrorists and vigilantes. Two of the vigilantes who were overpowered sustained injuries and were rushed to the hospital for treatment.
